Japan Branch Marks Three-Year Anniversary

Cary, NC (February 5, 2010) -- February 2, 2010 marked the three-year anniversary of the opening of the Reactive Systems Japan branch office in Nagoya, Japan. The branch, led by Michio Morimoto, offers direct sales of and technical support for Reactive Systems' products, including the Reactis® testing and validation package for Simulink®/Stateflow® and the Reactis for C Plugin.

Reactive Systems CEO Steve Sims noted that "after opening the branch we have been able to provide much better service to our Japanese customers through much more frequent and deeper interactions." Sims went on to note that the delivery of technical support from the US (Reactive Systems' previous mode of operation) was especially challenging due to the time-zone and language differences.

Since the branch opened in February, 2007, the number of companies using Reactis in Japan has approximately doubled to over 20 automotive OEMs and suppliers. During its first three years of operation, the Reactive Systems Japan branch also played a key role in expanding Reactis use in other parts of Asia. Distributor agreements were established in China and Taiwan. Also, many Japanese customers now use floating license options to share Reactis licenses with other countries in Asia, thereby maximizing the return on their Reactis investment.

About Reactis. Reactive Systems' Reactis tool provides automated test-generation and model-validation capabilities for Simulink/Stateflow models of control software.
